Rosemary Hanna Hayes, Managing Partner

Rosemary Hayes is the founder of Hayes & Newman, PL, an Orlando law firm engaged in Florida construction and commercial case matters. Ms. Hayes has been assisting clients in construction matters for over 30 years and has represented business owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, sureties and acted as insurance defense counsel. During her years at Orlando’s oldest law firm, Maguire, Voorhis & Wells, PA, Ms. Hayes handled numerous licensing matters and has continued her work in this area.

Rosemary Hayes obtained her undergraduate degree in finance from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida and received her law degree from Stetson University. She is a member of the Orange County Bar Association Appellate Practice Committee and the appellate section of The Florida Bar. Ms. Hayes is also a member of Associated Builders and Contractors (Central Florida Chapter), the American Concrete Institute, Orange County Bar Association and The Florida Bar.

Carly Marie Newman, Partner

Carly Newman has practiced in the Orlando area for over 7 years. After beginning her practice in complex litigation and tax controversy, she joined the firm in October 2017 assisting clients in construction and commercial litigation matters and became a partner in September 2019. Ms. Newman advises and represents business and individual clients in federal district and state circuit courts.

Ms. Newman is admitted in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida, as well as the United States Tax Court. She is a member of the George C. Young American Inn of Court, the tax section and construction law forum of the American Bar Association, the construction and tax law committees of the Orange County Bar Association, and the tax and animal law sections of the Florida Bar.

Ms. Newman obtained undergraduate degrees in English and Political Science from the University of Florida and received her law degree from Stetson University College of Law followed by her graduate tax degree, LL.M. in Taxation, from the University of Florida.
